After completing an email I try to attach a document from my tablet. I am given two choices - camera or files. I press files and the message is " no items " , when I know that there plenty of documents on the tablet. Help please!

You can also try:
First select the document which you want to send.
After selecting the document, click on share button.
You will see lots of sharing button such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, but here you can select Email option to share and then you can send your desired document via email
