Motorola Moto G — connecting to tv without WIFI

hi all. I choose not to have wifi in my house and although I can successfully connect my G6 to my router via cable, and I can successfully connect my Hitachi Viera smart TV to the internet via cable, I cannot get my phone to 'cast / mirror' to the TV via cable, via the router.
I know this is an unusual request but perhaps someone out there has a suggestion,

I didn't think anyone else was using cable TV. I gave it up a few years ago and it was the best decision I made. I received cable TV bills with such amounts that I was shocked. My friend advised me to look for an alternative to cable TV on yourmoneygeek and switch to streaming. That's exactly what I did. Now I pay half as much and can watch whatever I want without any problems. I think I saved a lot of money because of this
