My Samsung galaxy ace 5 2017 has recently started to flash up this warning. Check sim/SD card tray. Then the phone locks it's self. I don't have an SD card and the SIM is working fine. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what is the solution?

How many times did you drop the phone? it may be because of this, and never mind what case you are having. If your A5 is dual sim, try to change the sim in other tray.
